Cedric Kipre shone in the Scottish Premiership for Motherwell last season and should be on the radar of Celtic.

Hull City will have to at least double their offer if they are to sign Cedric Kipre from Motherwell this summer.
And this should not go unnoticed by Celtic.

Kipre certainly made his mark on Brendan Rodgers’ side last season, particularly when given a controversial red card for allegedly kicking out at Scott Brown in a goalless draw between the two sides in March.
But when he was not letting ill-discipline get the better of him, the 21-year-old was hugely impressive in his debut season in Scotland. Former Leicester youngster Kipre helped Motherwell reach the Scottish Cup final and only enhanced his growing reputation despite Celtic cruising to a 2-0 win at Hampden Park.

And with new defenders needed at Parkhead with Erik Sviatchenko gone, Dedryck Boyata in demand and Jack Hendry and Marvin Compper struggling, Kipre is certainly worth considering especially with a price-tag of just £1 million on his head.
Powerful, aggressive and very young, Kipre is a raw talent but one Rodgers could mould at Celtic. If they want to strengthen a rather shaky back line, signing one of the best defenders in the league would not be a bad idea.
