Ruben Neves produced arguably his worst Premier League performance of the season as Wolverhampton Wanderers lost at Huddersfield Town.

Huddersfield Town are bottom of the Premier League and 11 points from safety. But they have still done the double over Wolverhampton Wanderers, scoring three times without reply against a team with genuine ambitions of qualifying for Europe next season.
While Wolves fans should not go over the top in their criticism following Tuesday’s shock 1-0 loss at the John Smith’s Stadium, sealed thanks to a late Steve Mounie goal, the manner of the performance has fans understandably concerned.
Particularly with one player.

No one is doubting that Ruben Neves has been a revelation at Wolves since his £15.8 million move from Porto in the summer of 2017 (BBC). Arguably the finest player in the Championship last season, there is an underlying feeling that the Premier League is yet to see the very best of the Portuguese international.
He was certainly well off the pace against Huddersfield, failing to provide a single key pass and giving possession away again and again. It was one of his most disappointing performances in the famous gold shirt – something that did not go unnoticed on social media.
