Premier League trio Cardiff City, Fulham and Leicester City have all been linked with Liverpool’s seldom-seen right-back Nathaniel Clyne.

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock is under no illusions that his squad is crying out for a bit of added quality if they are to survive their first season back in the Premier League.
The 70-year-old has already been to watch the prolific Nantes striker Emiliano Sala despite his £25 million price-tag (The Mail). And, speaking to Wales Online, Warnock has also admitted that he wants to add some proven Premier League quality to his squad in the shape of Nathaniel Clyne.
The veteran gaffer handed Clyne his senior bow for Crystal Palace a decade ago and, with the right-back well down the pecking order at Liverpool, is keen to offer him an escape route out of Anfield.
“Yes (I am interested),” Warnock said. “I know Nathaniel. I gave him his debut, a lovely lad and I know his mother well she is a wonderful woman.”

Cardiff are not alone in targeting the seldom-seen Clyne, who moved to Liverpool from Southampton in 2015 for a fee of £12 million but has spent much of the last year on the sidelines with a troublesome back injury.
The Sun have reported that Fulham and Leicester City are both interested. Though Warnock will be hoping that he has an advantage.
Maybe he can put a call into Clyne’s mother to sway the defenders decision.
