Kieran Tierney is a boyhood Celtic fanatic who has made no secret of his allegiance to the green and white.

While so many players have departed the Scottish Premiership champions in recent years for the money and exposure on offer down south, Tierney has never once showed any desire to jump ship.

In fact, amid interest from bonafide Premier League giants Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, the homegrown left-back committed his future to Celtic in emphatic fashion back in October, as reported by ESPN.

Signing a six-year deal, while admitting that you’re ‘living the dream’, sends quite a strong message to your suitors.

So Celtic probably have very little to worry about as The Sun reports that Bournemouth are preparing a bid for the £20 million-rated Scotland international.

Eddie Howe’s side will be a Premier League team again next season and are renowned for playing positive, attacking football and giving up-and-coming talents a chance to prove themselves in arguably Europe’s most popular division.

Eddie Howe the head coach

But if Tierney is so determined to forge a legacy at Celtic that he is willing to turn down European powerhouses United, Spurs and Arsenal, it would be a major shock if he was enticed by an offer from a side sitting 12th in the Premier League.

Will all due respect to Bournemouth and Eddie Howe, it will take a lot more to turn Tierney’s head.
