Papy Djilobodji and Timm Klose could leave League One Sunderland or Championship Norwich City before the end of the transfer window

Hannover are looking for a new centre-back and are scouring the English market in an attempt to find one before the end of August. And it seems that the Bundesliga outfit have narrowed their search down to Papy Djilobodji of Sunderland and Timm Klose of Norwich City.
Both players have experience of German football, Djilobodji spending time on loan at Werder Bremen from Chelsea in 2016 while Klose represented Nurnburg and Wolfsburg before moving to Carrow Road.
And Hannover’s president Martin Kind has confirmed to Sport Buzzer that Djilobodji and Klose are both on the club’s radar.
“(Talks) are open with the two. There are discussions, but still no commitment,” Kind said.

Sunderland paid Chelsea £8 million to sign Djilobodji in 2016 (BBC) but he has proven to be an expensive disaster at the Stadium of Light. The 29-year-old is one of the club’s highest earners and they are desperate to sell before the end of August, particularly after Djilobodji failed to report back for pre-season training, according to The Chronicle.
Klose, in contrast, remains a key player for Norwich and has started all three of their Championship games so far this season. The 12-time Swiss international scored four goals in 37 league appearances in 2017/18 too.
