Liam Henderson was reportedly contacted by clubs back in the UK, just six months after Scottish Premiership outfit Celtic let him go.

Celtic fans can breathe a little easier – they aren’t about to be embarrassed by Hearts.
Six months after Brendan Rodgers sold Liam Henderson to Serie B outfit Bari for just £115,000, TuttoCalcioPuglia surprisingly claimed that Hearts were attempting to bring him back to the Scottish Premiership.
Henderson shone in Italy, helping Bari reach the play-offs while his value skyrocketed to £4 million, according to the Daily Record. So it already seems that Rodgers has made a rare mistake at Parkhead in letting one of the club’s most gifted academy prospects leave for next to nothing.
But rather than Hearts, it seems that Henderson is set to stay in Italy this summer – despite Bari going bankrupt and being forced to start again the regional leagues, meaning the former Hibs loanee is now available on a free.
Eurosport claim that Hellas Verona are set to win the race for the 22-year-old now. Verona are managed by Fabio Grosso, the 2006 World Cup winning left-back who was Henderson’s coach at Bari last season.

Interestingly, the Daily Record claims that clubs in the UK had contacted Henderson about a return to Britain but he has decided to remain in Italy as he feels that his style of play is better suited across the continent.
Bari fans dubbed Henderson ‘Braveheart with Brazilian feet’ – and Celtic’s decision to let him go looks more than more bizarre.
