Rangers will face Old Firm rivals Celtic at Parkhead on Sunday with Neil Lennon’s side leading Steven Gerrard’s by 10 in the Scottish Premiership table.

Billy Dodds believes Rangers will have to win every game between now and the end of the season if they are to keep alive their dreams of a first league title in seven years, starting with this weekend’s Old Firm derby, as reported by Sky Sports.
Steven Gerrard’s Gers looked well placed to bring an end to Celtic’s relentless domination of Scottish football after a deserved 1-0 win at Ibrox in December that appeared to herald the start of a genuine title race.
But the Glasgow giants have dropped off since the turn of the year, winning just five of their last nine Scottish Premiership games. Celtic, in the meantime, have being grinding out results with a number of last-gasp winners and currently sit ten points clear ahead of Sunday’s crunch clash at Parkhead.
And Dodds, who played for Rangers between 1999 and 2003, believes Gerrard and co need a minor miracle.

“Celtic will be desperate to win it of course. If they win it the league is definitely over,” Dodds told Sky Sports.
“If Rangers win it, yes they will believe but it’s going to be a tough ask.
“The consistency has not been there all season so why should it be there at the end? If they are going to try and win this Old Firm game and claw Celtic back they have to win virtually ever game.”
No matter what happens between now and the end of the season, Rangers have made great progress under Gerrard and, with a couple of astute additions, could launch a more believable title bid next season.
