Armstrong Okoflex has left Premier League big-hitters Arsenal to sign for Scottish Premiership champions Celtic

Well this one came out of nowhere.
A mystery man was spotted at Parkhead on Friday afternoon holding up a green and white shirt. And, after a bit of digging, it has emerged that Celtic have raided Premier League giants Arsenal for 16-year-old attacker Armstrong Okoflex, as reported by the Daily Record.
If there is a more joyous name in football right now, we’re yet to hear it. But what can Celtic fans expect of a teenager who has only ever been seen in U18 level at Arsenal?
Okoflex moved to Arsenal five years ago after trials at West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur, impressing The Gunners with his dazzling dribbling ability. Born in Dublin, Okoflex featured seven times for Arsenal’s U18 side last season and scored once.
While excited about the arrival of another young prospect, Celtic fans would be wise to reserve judgement on Okoflex for now. Though the reaction from some Arsenal fans towards his departure makes for interesting reading.

It seems that those in the know rated the young Irishman very highly indeed with his exit seen as a big loss by some.
The Arsenal Youth blog claims that Okoflex was offered a scholarship contract at Arsenal but has instead decided to move north of the border as he believes first-team opportunities will be more forthcoming at Celtic.
Time will tell if he’s proved correct.
