Tottenham Hotspur have been tipped to bring Fiorentina’s Serie A defender Milenkovic to the Premier League and he shone for Serbia.

As it stands, it seems unlikely that Toby Alderweireld will be wearing the white of Spurs when the 2019/20 season kicks off. So Tottenham Hotspur are facing a massive challenge over the summer, replacing one of the finest defenders in European football.
But, if last night’s evidence is anything to go by, Mauricio Pochettino might already have discovered the game’s next great centre-half.
The Mirror claims that Nikola Milenkovic is one of the defenders on Tottenham’s radar, a highly-rated Fiorentina stalwart who could cost in the region of £30 million (Corriere dello Sport).

With his Serbia team taking on Germany in an international friendly on Wednesday, it was the perfect opportunity to check out the 21-year-old in action. But did he look like a £30 million talent against Joachim Low’s new-look attack?
You bet he did. In the first half especially.
Earning his eleventh cap for Serbia, Milenkovic produced a defensive performance full of maturity, strength and superb positional sense.
The Balkan nation secured a deserved 1-1 draw at the Volkswagen Arena thanks to a clever header from the similarly coveted Luka Jovic. But Milenkovic was one of the best players on the pitch, with fans on Twitter singing his praises after the game.
Maybe he would be £30 million well spent after all.
