La Liga champion Kevin-Prince Boateng beleives he could have shone in the Premier League with Manchester United.

Barcelona loanee Kevin-Prince Boateng believes he could have been a fixture at Manchester United for over a decade had his application matched his ability in the early days of his footballing career, while speaking to Goal.
The mercurial midfielder has turned out for Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan and now Barca during a nomadic playing career but there remains a feeling that he could have achieved so much more.
Boateng’s ability has never been in question but his attitude certainly has. Just this month, Catalunya radio station Club de la Mitjanit (4 April) claimed that Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde had been disappointed by his approach to training, the Ghanaian having featured sporadically since arriving from Sassuolo in January.
And, speaking to Goal, the 32-year-old has admitted that he regrets the way his career has turned out, believing that he had the talent to represent a giant like Manchester United for many years.
“I know very well that I have also failed with my motivation, which has not always been 100 per cent there,” he said.

“If I would have had the absolute will, I would have been a starting XI player at Barcelona or would have played 10 years for Real Madrid or Manchester United.”
Boateng has started just two games for Barcelona so far, the most recent coming in a 0-0 draw against relegation threatened Huesca.
Goal reports that the La Liga champions have an option to sign him presently for around £7 million but that seems very unlikely at this stage.
