Premier League giants Liverpool might regret letting Luis Alberto leave for Serie A and Lazio because La Liga giants Barcelona want him now.

Suso is not the only Spanish Serie A play-maker that Liverpool should regret giving up on.
Like the AC Milan talisman, Luis Alberto has been in sensational form for Lazio this season, finally showing the kind of creative talent that encouraged Liverpool to spend £6.8 million on him during the summer of 2013, as reported by the Daily Mail.
With six games to go, Lazio are currently occupying the fourth and final Champions League qualification place and Alberto’s performances are a major reason why. The 25-year-old has scored nine and set up another 11 in Italy’s top flight in 2017/18.

The one-time Spanish international spent the 2012/13 season on loan at Barcelona’s B team from Sevilla but this time around would challenge for a place in Ernesto Valverde’s first team, possibly on the left of a front three or in place of Andres Iniesta should the veteran bid farewell this summer.

And Barcelona’s reported interest does not reflect well on Liverpool’s decision to sell Alberto for just £4.3 million in August 2016 after the creative midfielder had made only 12 appearances for the Merseyside giants.
