Patrick Roberts and Charly Musonda were kept on the bench as Celtic stuttered to a 0-0 Scottish Premiership draw with Dundee at Parkhead.

Some Celtic fans are starting to express a little displeasure with manager Brendan Rodgers and, to some, that might seem a little spoilt.
The Glasgow giants are en route to a seventh straight Scottish Premiership title and are clear favourites to win a domestic treble for the second year in a row. But there is a good reason why Celtic fans are worried.
There has been a considerable drop in performance levels from last season to this, and the toothless stalemate with relegation-threatened Dundee at Parkhead on Wednesday night was the latest in a series of uninspiring attacking performances.

Since the beginning of February, the league leaders have also failed to find the net against Kilmarnock, St Johnstone and Motherwell.
And although Rodgers acted decisively in an attempt to change things up against Dundee, bringing on Leigh Griffiths, Odsonne Edouard and Olivier Ntcham in a lesser-spotted triple substitution just after the hour, that was not enough to secure a win – or spare him criticism from supporters.
Fans, perhaps justifiably, are asking why he did not turn to the twinkle toed creator Patrick Roberts. Others are wondering why Charly Musonda, the brilliant Chelsea loanee who has not featured in the league since mid-February, was omitted again.

Both Roberts and Musonda – players with genuine game-changing ability – were left on the bench to the bemusement of those inside Parkhead.
