Yes, 37-year-old Terry is one of England’s greatest ever defenders and has enjoyed a superb season at Aston Villa, but it is difficult to argue against the notion that Boly, who has been a revelation since joining from Porto, is not the Championship’s best centre-back right now.
The Frenchman has been so frequently impenetrable at the heart of Wolves’ defence this season, and in his 26 Championship games, Nuno Espirito Santo’s league leaders have kept 14 clean sheets.

If Terry rolls back the years and delivers another defensive masterclass, perhaps Wolves fans will not be so quick to bump the former England captain down the pecking order.
