Championship giants Aston Villa will reportedly bid for Porto’s Moussa Marega if they’re promoted to the Premier League

Aston Villa are 90 minutes of football away from a return to the Premier League.
They will take on Fulham at Wembley next week in the Championship play-off final with a place in the top flight up for grabs. And, should Villa bring an end to two years outside of the big time, it will go down as a commendable team effort – particularly when it comes to scoring goals.
Thanks to Jonathan Kodjia’s injury problems and the erratic form of Scott Hogan, the likes of Albert Adomah, Connor Hourihane and Robert Snodgrass have been forced to contribute a fair few goals of their own.
But Aston Villa will know that, if they are promoted, they will need far more quality in attack. Which perhaps explains why they have been linked with two potentially thrilling deals which could transform Aston Villa’s attack.

Needless to say, Marega would be Aston Villa’s record signing by some distance.

And The Sun (20th May, page 67) is reporting that Aston Villa are also keen to sign Harry Wilson on loan from Liverpool for a bargain fee of £250,000. A subtle and languid playmaker in the mould of Jack Grealish, the Welsh international netted seven goals in 11 starts on loan at Hull City last season.
A front three of Grealish, Wilson and Marega is enough to get Aston Villa fans foaming at the mouth, adding pace, power and a lot of end product.
