Callum Robinson and Enda Stevens were discarded by Aston Villa but they shone as Sheffield United secured a Premier League draw away at Chelsea.

It was a weekend to forget for Aston Villa fans.
Not only did Dean Smith’s side lose to Crystal Palace thanks to a second-half strike from the one-time Villa flop Jordan Ayew, they were forced to watch on as two players who were discarded without a second thought stunned Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Enda Stevens and Callum Robinson played just 14 games between them in Aston Villa colours but they are now starring in the Premier League with Sheffield United.

Left-back Stevens, released without ever being given a chance by the Midland giants, set up Robinson with a brilliant run and cross as The Blades came from two down to secure a superb 2-2 draw in West London on Saturday afternoon. Robinson, Sheffield United’s £7 million striker, was allowed to leave Aston Villa for just £170,000 by the way (LEP).
And that’s without mentioning who scored for Chelsea at the other end. That is four goals in two games last season’s loan star Tammy Abraham.
But while Villa never had a chance in hell of keeping Abraham in claret and blue, they only have themselves to blame for letting Stevens and Robinson go for next to nothing.
