Championship duo Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are waiting in the wings with Callum Hudson-Odoi’s immediate Chelsea future uncertain.

If Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are both fighting to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi on loan, and the Birmingham Mail believes they could be, the Midlands duo might have to fight off competition from one of the biggest clubs in world football.
The 18-year-old Chelsea winger highlighted his huge potential during pre-season, particularly in a scintillating performance against Arsenal. But the teenager has struggled for chances now that the regular campaign has begun.
The Mirror reports that Chelsea are willing to loan Hudson-Odoi out in the January transfer window and the England U17 World Cup winner would be a potential match-winner for an Aston Villa or West Brom side aiming to return to the Premier League in 2019.
But, the report adds, none other than Bayern Munich are also keeping a close eye on developments at Stamford Bridge.

Perhaps inspired by the success of other young English attackers in the Bundesliga, namely Ademola Lookman, Reiss Nelson and Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, it is understood that Bayern are keen to bring the teenager to the Allianz Arena with his Chelsea contract due to expire in 2020.
For now, however, a spell at Villa Park or the Hawthorns could work wonders for a player who is crying out for a chance to prove himself at senior level.
