Some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs have been watching Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson at Shrewsbury Town, and so have Aston Villa.

Dean Henderson might not have played a single minute of senior football for Manchester United, but there is no doubting the talent of this highly-rated goalkeeper.
Henderson has shone on loan at Shrewsbury Town in League One, keeping 11 clean sheets in 25 games to help the pre-season relegation favourites up to third in the table at the mid-way point of a remarkable season.

They included Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, not to mention Southampton, Stoke City and Watford.
So it almost goes without saying that Aston Villa would be pulling off an impressive coup if they managed to lure Henderson to the Midlands either now or at the end of the current campaign.

Villa have another United academy graduate in Sam Johnstone between the sticks as it stands, but they may struggle to make his loan deal permanent unless they enjoy the financial boost of promotion. If Villa miss out, clubs in the Premier League will no doubt make their move.
As such, Bruce may need a new number one soon and will consider putting a great deal of faith in the fresh-faced Henderson; as long as Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal do not step up their interest.
