Arsenal loaned 18-year-old forward Reiss Nelson out to Hoffenheim in August.

When given the choice of sitting in the stands in England or playing regularly in Germany, you can see why so many young British talents having made the move to the Bundesliga of late.
Everton bench-warmer Ademola Lookman was a revelation during a short-term spell at RB Leipzig last season, while 18-year-old Jadon Sancho forced his way into the senior England squad just a year after leaving Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund.
And the early signs suggest Reiss Nelson could follow in their footsteps. The teenage forward moved from Arsenal to Hoffenheim on a season-long loan in August and he has taken to life in Germany like a duck to water.
Nelson has started just two Bundesliga games for Hoffenheim but has scored four goals already, including a clinical brace in a Man of the Match performance away to Nurnburg on Saturday.
As a result, Ladbrokes believe that Nelson could follow Sancho into Gareth Southgate’s England squad, slashing the odds on a debut call-up to just 2/1.

The Three Lions will face the USA in a friendly before that final UEFA Nations League clash against Croatia in mid-November.
Nelson made his first appearance for England’s U21s this month and has scored twice for his country already, netting a back-heel against Andorra before firing home a stunning free-kick against Scotland.
A senior call-up would continue his remarkable rise.
