Dominik Szoboszlai admitted earlier in the year that he is honoured to be linked with Premier League powerhouses Arsenal but will Unai Emery snap him up?

The days of Puskas, Kocsis and Hidegkuti might have been consigned to a distant and glorious past but, with Dominik Szoboszlai on the rise, there is a bright new hope of Hungarian football.
The 18-year-old is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most talented young midfielders anywhere in Europe and, at Red Bull Salzburg, he is playing for a club famous for providing a platform for the next generation. And Szoboszlai has everything, the ability, the mentality and the natural-born skill, to follow in the esteemed footsteps of Sadio Mane and Naby Keita, to name but two.
AS reported earlier in the year that Arsenal were keeping tabs on the most exciting Hungarian footballer of the 21st century and the admiration is certainly mutual.

“Of course, it is a huge honour to be linked with giant clubs like Arsenal,” he told Goal in March, while admitting that he models his game on the likes of Toni Kroos and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
With two goals and four assists to his name already this season for a Salzburg side who are ripping teams apart both at home and abroad under American coach Jesse Marsch, the speculation is only going to intensify.
Football London claimed after Salzburg’s 6-2 Champions League thrashing of Genk that Arsenal are watching the Austrian champions very closely with Szoboszlai expected to be right at the top of their wishlist.
He would certainly be welcomed with open arms in North London.
