Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly hoping to bring Lyon’s Ligue 1 duo Tanguy Ndombele and Houssem Aouar to the Premier League.

Wolverhampton Wanderers only returned to the Premier League this season but Nuno Espirito Santo already appears to have one of the best midfields in the top flight at his fingertips.
Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves are two hugely talented playmakers and established Portuguese internationals to boot while 18-year-old Morgan Gibbs-White has been a revelation since forcing his way into the side. And that’s without mentioning Leander Dendoncker, a World Cup semi-finalist with Belgium.
But, according to Le 10 Sport, Wolves are still hoping to add some extra quality in the centre of the park. It is claimed that the much coveted Lyon duo Tanguy Ndombele and Houssem Aouar are ambitious targets for the Black Country side.
Now, Ndombele and Aouar have been regulars in the gossip columns of late but the question on the lips of Wolves fans will be what they could expect from the talented French duo?
Well, the fact that Ndombele has been described in some quarters as the ‘new N’Golo Kante’ speaks volumes (Goal). Like the tireless Chelsea ace, Ndombele is a cyclone of energy in the centre of the park while possessing underrated technical ability to boot.

In quotes reported by Tribal Football in October, Ndombele admits he was learning from working alongside Kante on international duty.
Aouar, however, is a completely different player, a cerebral and creative midfield talent capable of carving open opposition defences with perfectly weighted passes.
Speaking to Calciomercato in March, Aouar admitted his idol is none other than Barcelona and Spain legend Andres Iniesta – which shines through every time the 20-year-old steps foot on the pitch.
