Mario Rui of Napoli is reportedly a target for Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Jonny only on loan from Atletico Madrid.

Thanks to the form of Jonny Castro Otto, no one is questioning Wolverhampton Wanderers’ decision to sell Barry Douglas to Leeds United now.
The Spaniard arrived on loan from Atletico Madrid in the summer to replace the man who produced 14 assists en route to the Championship title last season. But Jonny has been a revelation at Molineux, starting every Premier League game and cementing his place in the senior Spain squad as a result.
Whether his long-term future is at Wolves, however, remains to be seen.
Jonny only signed a six-year contract at Atletico in July after sealing his switch to the Spanish capital from Celta Vigo. It seems the 24-year-old has been lined up to replace the veteran Filipe Luis when the Brazilian’s contract expires at the end of the season.
The Birmingham Mail reports that Wolves are uncertain whether they can sign Jonny permanently, although they will look into the situation in January.

According to CalcioNews24, Wolves appear to have identified a fine replacement should Jonny return to Madrid. It is claimed they have contacted Napoli about the possibility of signing another Portuguese international, the former Empoli and Roma man Mario Rui.
Rui has been superb under Carlo Ancelotti at Napoli and has also established himself in the Portugal squad. He would offer experience, combative defending and an aggressive attacking style if he did ultimately succeed Jonny.
Rui’s potential arrival would give Wolves a left-back of equal quality.
