Antonio Valencia has been linked with a move to West Ham United with his nine-year stay at Premier League giants Manchester United coming to an end.

The 33-year-old right-back is out of contract in the summer and seems set to bid farewell to Manchester United in the near future, almost a decade after he arrived from Wigan Athletic for £17 million.
According to The Mirror, Valencia is set to leave in June when he will be a free agent. United already have Diego Dalot lined up as a potential long-term replacement while Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also a target.
So if West Ham are still keen to extend the Ecuadorian’s Premier League career, their chances could now be better than ever.
The Sun reported a month ago that Manuel Pellegrini’s side are interested in signing the 93-cap veteran. And his lack of game-time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suggest that Valencia’s future lies away from Old Trafford.
Valencia has only started five Premier League games all season and has been left out of the matchday squad for five of Solskjaer’s six games in charge of Manchester United. The Norwegian has preferred Ashley Young at right-back with the Englishman understood to be in talks over a new deal, The Mirror adds.
So it seems unlikely that United will stand in Valencia’s way if West Ham come knocking.
