Premier League outfit West Bromwich Albion have made a £13m bid for Marseille’s Anguissa but Morgan Sanson is tearing Ligue 1 apart.

Anyone who watched Cameroon’s short-lived Confederations Cup campaign last summer with tell you that Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa is a real Rolls Royce of a midfielder.
Like a Mousa Dembele or a Yaya Toure, the 6ft enforcer is a player with real authority and presence but with an eye for the subtleties too. It was his sublime clipped finish that earned Hugo Broos’ side their only point in Russia, a 1-1 draw with Australia.
And he has produced performances of a similar nature for Marseille most of the time throughout this season too. The 22-year-old has made 37 appearances in all competitions to help Rudi Garcia’s side to third in Ligue 1 – and attract a plethora of Premier League interest.

Though, despite Anguissa’s many qualities, maybe he should not be the Marseille midfielder West Brom are targeting.
Renewing their interest in one Morgan Sanson would perhaps be the better decision.
Per the Birmingham Mail, The Baggies were keen to land the little playmaker from Montpellier a year ago. He moved to Marseille instead, however, and has not looked back.

In 33 Ligue 1 starts for Marseille, Sanson has scored or assisted 18 goals in the space of 12 months. Combining tenacity and technique, the Frenchman is exactly the kind of creative hub West Brom have missed all season with the side bottom of the Premier League and seven points from safety.
But if The Baggies want any Marseille midfielder, they will probably have to survive first.
