Sunderland have had a bid rejected for Mo Eisa but a Championship club are reportedly keen now; could it be West Bromwich Albion?

Cheltenham Town face a major challenge holding on to Mo Eisa this summer.
The prolific striker has been the subject of a £1 million bid from Sunderland, according to Sky Sports, while Gloucester Live claim that another League One club, Portsmouth, have had a number of offers rejected so far.
It is understood that Cheltenham value Eisa – who scored 25 goals in his debut Football League season – at around £1.5 million; potentially a real bargain in today’s market.
But with Gloucester Live stating that a club from the Championship are set to join the race for Eisa, it will be interesting to find out who that is. Could it be West Bromwich Albion, who the 24-year-old scored against in a behind-closed-doors friendly earlier this month?

Eisa showcased his famed predatory instincts against the Baggies. And, with West Brom needing a new striker with both Salomon Rondon and Jay Rodriguez expected to leave before the window slams shut, they could do worse than give a break to a player with the raw talent to score goals at a far higher level than League Two.
The likes of Jamie Vardy and Andre Gray both made the step up from non-league relatively late in the life, and all the signs suggest the former Leatherhead and Greenwich Borough talisman could do the same.
