Another injury lay-off for Vincent Kompany looks certain, leaving City fans unsure about their captain’s future?
As one Twitter user so eloquently put it; Vincent Kompany is injured again. In other news, water is wet.
The sight of the inspirational Manchester City captain pulling up, a look of concerned anguish spreading across his face as he storms down the tunnel is a sight far too familiar to matchgoers at the Etihad.
And, after he limped out of the warm up as Belgium prepared to face off against Holland in Wednesday’s sort-of glamour friendly, Pep Guardiola’s worst fears were revealed.

Only just returning to action after overcoming the latest in a lengthening list of niggles and knocks, Mr Captain Fantastic will once again be confined to the treatment room for the foreseeable future.
Pep had hoped to ease him back into the starting line-up. In fact, Kompany hasn’t featured from the off in any of City’s last four fixtures.
But, for now, this appears to be a problem no one has the answer to. Not even Kompany himself, who will once again be forced to sit and wait it out on the sidelines while the doubts about his short-term and long-term career prospects intensify once more.

Is Kompany really injured again?
