Crystal Palace and West Ham United are reportedly going head-to-head to sign Jack Wilshere from Premier League neighbours Arsenal/

The race to sign Jack Wilshere is most definitely back on.
The Sun claimed on Sunday that West Ham United are confident of winning the race for the Arsenal midfielder. It is understood that Gunners coach Unai Emery wants Wilshere to stay but he will have to accept a 20 per cent pay cut and wages of £30,000-a-week less than the £130,000 package he would receive at West Ham.
But Crystal Palace also have reason to believe they have a good chance of signing the Arsenal academy graduate this summer too.

A move to Selhurst Park would reunite Wilshere with Roy Hodgson, his former England manager and a coach whose belief in the 26-year-old is unquestioned. Hodgson took Wilshere to Euro 2016 remember despite the fact he had barely played all season.
Furthermore, Hodgson will offer Wilshere guaranteed first-team football to help him kick-start an England career that has stagnated since Gareth Southgate took over.

Despite some impressive performances for Arsenal in a season in which he finally put a run of games together, Wilshere was overlooked for The Three Lions’ World Cup squad.
But does the chance to work with Hodgson again give Palace the advantage over West Ham?
