Premier League Everton have secured Anthony Gordon on a long-term contract amid interest from Bundesliga duo Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Anthony Gordon has signed his first professional contract with Everton, committing his future to the Goodison Park club until 2023 according to the Liverpool Echo.
While this won’t make many headlines outside of Merseyside, that does not mean the Toffees have not pulled off a real coup in convincing the talented 18-year-old to stay.
After all, Gordon has earned rave reviews for his performances in David Unsworth’s U23 side this season, helping the young Toffees reach the top of the Premier League 2 table.
And it is just a few months since the Mail broke the news that Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich were hoping to convince the first Everton debutant born in the 21st century to bid farewell.

A number of Premier League clubs have lost some of their most exciting talents to German clubs in recent times, a trend sparked by Jaden Sancho’s roaring success in the yellow of Dortmund after walking out of Manchester City.
Everton, however, have moved quick shortly after Gordon’s 18th birthday to ensure that they do not have a Sancho situation on their hands.
