River Plate’s Argentina youngster Augusto Batalla is the latest goalkeeper to be linked with Leeds United this summer.

Leeds United want a goalkeeper but who will they end up with?
There was a big problem between the sticks last season, with Felix Wiedwald and Andy Lonergan both failing to inspire confidence in anyone around Elland Road. By the end of the season, the duo had been sidelined and Bailey Peacock-Farrell promoted to first choice.
That does not appear to be a long-term solution however, especially now Wiedwald and Lonergan have gone and Leeds need some depth in the goalkeeping department.
Manchester City’s Angus Gunn has gone to Southampton instead for £10 million, while a loan bid for Birmingham’s 32-year-old shot-stopper David Stockdale has been rejected. Jamal Blackman of Chelsea (below), who shone last season at Sheffield United, is now understood to be the new number one target.

Batalla, who was named the best goalkeeper at the South American U17 Championship in 2013 and has won two tournaments for Argentina at youth level, rejected a move to Real Madrid two years ago but has now been linked with another white-clad European institution.
But how do Leeds fans feel about Batalla’s potential arrival?
