Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly been tracking Huddersfield Town’s Premier League winger Alex Pritchard since 2013.

Barring a remarkable escape from relegation that would make West Bromwich Albion’s miracle of 2005 look like a small child’s card trick, Huddersfield Town are all but down.
With 11 games to go, Jan Siewert’s side are 14 points adrift of safety. And it is fair to say that they are hardly guaranteed a result at home to an impressive Wolverhampton Wanderers’ side who are dreaming of qualifying for Europe this season.
So Tuesday’s clash at the John Smith’s Stadium offers an ideal chance for Alex Pritchard to prove that he belongs in the Premier League.
The Sun reported that Wolves are long-standing suitors of the former Tottenham Hotspur winger. They have apparently tracked him since 2013 (the Mirror, 6 December, 11.28am) and would be willing to pay £15 million to bring Pritchard to the Black Country.

Should he be passed fit after missing Saturday’s 2-0 loss at Newcastle United, expect Pritchard to start against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side with a point to prove.
If he impresses like he did in Huddersfield’s shock win at Molineux in the autumn, he could be offered the chance to jump from Siewert’s sinking ship and join a Wolves side going from strength to strength under the former Valencia and Porto boss.
Pritchard might have more to play for than three points.
