Scottish Premiership giants Rangers paid £2m to sign Eros Grezda from Osijek and he starred in Sunday’s 7-1 thrashing of Motherwell.

Eros Grezda has taken a while to get going since joining Rangers from Croatian outfit Osijek in August.
But the winger finally showed why The Gers paid £2 million for him, according to the BBC, by playing a starring role in Sunday’s 7-1 Scottish Premiership thrashing of Motherwell.
At the seventh attempt, Grezda scored his first goal for the Glasgow giants and then fired home a second for good measure. So, heading into the international break, the Ibrox faithful can be confident that they’re about to see the best of the 23-year-old over the coming months.
And while Steven Gerrard will have been delighted to see Grezda get off the mark, it seems that his Albania boss is also impressed by the progress he has made of late.
“I was delighted to see Eros scored two goals for Rangers. It means he will arrive with us full of confidence,” said the former Italy defender Christian Panucci, as reported by the Daily Record.

“I think he is getting better all the time and is fitter than he was a month ago when we last met up. And if he can add goals to his game too, it will be a huge bonus for the national team.”
Ironically, Grezda could be about to come up against a number of his Rangers teammates when Albania host Scotland in a crucial UEFA Nations League clash on Saturday.
The winger has won nine caps for his country since making his international debut in 2016, scoring once in a 3-2 win against Turkey.
