Sochaux talent Lucien Agoume is reportedly Inter Milan bound, despite the chance to move to the Premier League under Unai Emery or Pep Guardiola.

Arsenal and Manchester City are interested in signing Sochaux’s coveted teenage talent Lucien Agoume, the player’s agent has admitted to L’Est Republican.
A Cameroon-born midfielder who has represented France at youth level, Agoume has gone from strength to strength since he made his senior bow for Sochaux at the age of just 16. He is now a valuable part of the club’s first-team plans and played 15 Ligue 2 games last season.
It seems that Agoume will be on his way out of France very soon, however. As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, the talented youngster is expected to sign for Inter Milan for a fee of around £6.2 million.
But until Agoume is wearing the famous blue and black shirt, two of the Premier League’s biggest clubs will retain hope of hijacking his impending move to the San Siro.
“(His contract) will be done I think with Inter,” Djibril Niang said.

“There were two other solutions with Manchester City and Arsenal positioning themselves and waiting. But this is not the priority choice of the player. We could have gone faster with these clubs but once again we worked on the wish of Lucien.”
You hardly need to read between the lines to figure out that Agoume has chosen a move to Inter over Manchester City or Arsenal, perhaps believing that he can fulfil his vast potential under Antonio Conte in Milan.
Considering that Unai Emery and Pep Guardiola have a history when it comes to kick-starting the careers of dazzling young talents, it is perhaps a little surprisingly that Agoume hasn’t been more tempted by a move to Arsenal or City.
