Nottingham Forest are reportedly hoping to sign Portuguese striker Nelson Oliveira on loan from Norwich City.

Nelson Oliveira and Daniel Farke have never really seen eye to eye at Norwich City.
The Portuguese striker started just 26 Championship games under the German coach in 2017/18 and has not made a single appearance so far this season, with the East Anglian Daily Press reporting that he remains out of favour.
Nonetheless, Nottingham Forest could be getting one of the Championship’s most skilled strikers if they bring Oliveira, who had a loan spell in the East Midlands in 2015/16, back to the City Ground.
The Nottingham Post reports that Oliveira is one of the strikers on Aitor Karanka’s wish list before the transfer window shuts at the end of this week. And although the former Benfica wonder kid finds himself on the fringes at Norwich, he could be the main man at Forest.
And when you consider that bitter local rivals Derby County made an £8 million bid for Oliveira as recently as January, as claimed by HITC sources, landing him on loan would look even more impressive.

Oliveira’s skill-set is certainly one of a man worth a decent transfer fee. He might have scored just 27 goals in three Championship campaigns but his intelligence, vision and link play means he could thrive alongside fellow Iberian starlets like Joao Carvalho and Gil Dias.
And Forest, should a deal happen, would sign an £8 million striker without spending a penny.
