James Forrest has scored 16 goals this season for Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic and is expected to cause Aberdeen problems in the Cup semi-final.

Aberdeen defender Max Lowe has admitted that playing against James Forrest is a ‘frightening’ prospect as the Dons prepare to battle Celtic for a place in the Scottish Cup final, while speaking to BBC Scotland.
The old rivals are set to go head-to-head at Hampden Park on Sunday with a place in the May showpiece on the cards. And Derby County loanee Lowe is under no illusions about the threat Forrest in particular will pose.
The Scotland international is arguably enjoying the best season of his career, scoring 16 goals and providing 20 assists in all competitions while netting a dramatic winner in the recent Old Firm derby triumph over Rangers.
Speaking ahead of the game, Lowe has reserved plenty of praise for Forrest while believing that he has all the ability to star in the Premier League.
“Frightening. He’s probably one of the best wingers I’ve played against,” Lowe said.

“But I just try to thrive off that opportunity of keeping him quiet. It’s a hard job to do, but I’m looking forward to it.
“It is just the pace of the boy. He’s very hard to keep up with when he’s in his stride and he’s obviously clinical as well.
“You can see why he is spoken highly of, and I’m sure he is down in England as well, so I don’t see why he couldn’t play in the Premier League.”
Celtic have a history when it comes to breaking Aberdeen’s hearts, former Dons loanee Ryan Christie of all people scoring the only goal of the game in December’s League Cup final at the national stadium.
So Derek McInnes’s side will be fired up with revenge in their sights on Sunday.
