Aberdeen goalkeeper Joe Lewis has kept two clean sheets in victories against Glasgow Rangers this season.

Aberdeen goalkeeper Joe Lewis has warned Rangers they will be travelling to Ibrox full of confidence ahead of Tuesday’s Scottish Cup quarter-final replay, as reported by the Press and Journal.
Nottingham Forest loanee Joe Worrall cancelled out Sam Cosgrove’s early penalty at Pittodrie at the start of March, meaning the two rivals are set to go head-to-head again tonight.
Rangers will arguably be the favourites given that they are in front of their own supporters, but Aberdeen represent difficult opponents. Derek McInnes’s side were perhaps unlucky not to win away at Celtic on Saturday after all.
Speaking to the Press and Journal, experienced shot-stopper Lewis has warned Steven Gerrard’s side that Aberdeen will not be there for the taking in Glasgow.
“I don’t know what Rangers’ thoughts are about us but we will carry ourselves with that bit of confidence and have that swagger when we get out at Ibrox which lets teams know they are in for a game,” Lewis said
“Our recent results and performances against the Old Firm have earned that respect and I’m sure Rangers are aware of that. They are a good team and I’m sure they’ll go into the game with confidence themselves.

“We have also won twice at Ibrox during my time here and also beaten Rangers in a semi-final at Hampden so we have huge belief within the squad when we come down to Glasgow.”
The Dons have beaten Rangers twice already this season, including in the Scottish League Cup semi-final in October, with Lewis keeping a clean sheet in both those encounters.
But he was beaten four times as the Gers cruised to a 4-2 win at Pittodrie earlier in 2019 – a result that Rangers will be keen to repeat when the two sides clash again.
