Championship duo Nottingham Forest and Queens Park Rangers have both reportedly made bids for Dons defender Scott McKenna.

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has admitted to the Evening Express that he is desperate to keep Scott McKenna at Pittodrie after Nottingham Forest and Queens Park Rangers had bids rejected for the coveted centre-back.
In truth, Aberdeen have done brilliantly to hang onto McKenna for this long. A talented young centre-back who captained Scotland on only his fourth international appearance, the 22-year-old certainly has a lot going for him.
The Evening Express claim that Aston Vila made a £6.5 million bid for McKenna last summer and, 12 months on, it is Nottingham Forest and QPR who are making their move.
Both clubs have failed with bids of around £3 million for a player who is understood to be valued at around treble that fee (Daily Record).
And it’s fair to say McInnes is hardly pushing McKenna towards the exit.
“It is up to other clubs to make us change our minds. We are not encouraging any offers. I want to keep my players,” said the former West Brom captain.
“There may well be further interest and other offers coming in, but that is not what I am thinking about at the minute and neither is Scott. We will deal with that if it rises.

“The English window closes next week and everyone is starting to get a bit edgy down there.”
They certainly are. With time running out, both Forest and QPR are still desperate to bring in reinforcements at the back. And McKenna, who combines natural physicality with a modern ball-playing style, could be exactly what Forest need to partner Alexander Milosevic at centre-half.
QPR, however, are crying out for a commanding defender with Toni Leistner expected to leave Loftus Road.
