Derby County left-back Max Lowe impressed in the Scottish Premiership at Aberdeen but will Frank Lampard bring him back to Pride Park?

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes had admitted that he would love to bring Max Lowe back to Pittodrie next season if Derby County let him, as reported by the Evening Express.
The 22-year-old left-back is highly regarded at Pride Park and he has done his reputation no harm during a superb loan spell north of the border during the 2018/19 campaign.
Lowe has made 41 appearances for Aberdeen, 28 of those coming in the Scottish Premiership, with his adventurous approach earning him plenty of admirers – McInnes among them.
Speaking with just one game remaining in the season, the former Barnsley manager has admitted that he would jump at the chance to work with Lowe again.
“It is one of the options. Derby need to decide what they want to do with Max first – whether they want to keep him, whether they want to loan him again or whether they want to sell him,” McInnes said.
“Derby hold the cards in that.”

“Max is clearly enjoying it and I think would like to find a way to stay if he could. And we’d like to have him. But we won’t be able to make that decision.”
Derby manager Frank Lampard appears to have high hopes for Lowe too, given that he handed the youngster a long-term deal last year.
And with former England international Ashely Cole set to leave Pride Park when his contract expires in the summer, it remains to be seen whether Lampard plans to promote Lowe to his first-team in the 38-year-old’s place.
