Arsenal midfielder Ramsey is reportedly a target for Everton – as well as champions of Germany and Italy, Bayern Munich and Juventus.

With all due respect to Everton, a side who look to be heading in the right direction after a few years of stagnation, they are nowhere near the same level as Juventus and Bayern Munich right now.
Not only are Bayern and Juve the irrepressible winners of their domestic leagues, dominating the Bundesliga and Serie A in recent seasons, they are also regulars in the latter stages of the Champions League.
Everton, meanwhile, are ninth in the English top flight and, in truth, the Europa League may the best they can realistically aim for in Marco Silva’s first season at Goodison Park.
So if Aaron Ramsey decides to swap Arsenal for the Toffees, rather than head abroad to Turin or Munich, the nagging feeling would be of a move that smacks of a lack of ambition.
The Mirror (17 October, page 51) reports that Everton are willing to offer Ramsey £150,000 a week to lure him to Merseyside when his contract at Arsenal expires at the end of the season, plus a mammoth £15 million signing on fee.

According to The Sun, however, Juventus are planning to offer £10.4 million a year to the Welsh international while Bayern are also monitoring the situation.
And if Ramsey wants to win trophies and establish himself at a major European club in the peak years of his career, he must jump at the chance to move to either the dominant force of Italy or Germany.
Everton would surely put a cap on Ramsey’s ability to achieve.
