Roderick Miranda is reportedly on his way out of Molineux without getting his Premier League chance with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The writing was on the wall for Roderick Miranda – and not just because he featured in a grand total of two Championship games from Christmas until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old was already behind Connor Coady, Willy Boly, Ryan Bennett and arguably even Danny Batth in the pecking order and recent reports have linked Wolves with a number of new centre-halves, including Lazio duo Wallace and Bastos and Manchester City youngster Tosin Adarabioyo.
So it is not a surprise for supporters to learn that Miranda, a £2.5 million signing from Rio Ave last summer, is unlikely to still be a Wolves player at the end of this week.

According to The Express and Star, the Portuguese centre-back has flown out to Greece in order to finalise a season-long loan move to Superleague giants Olympiakos, who finished third last season as their seven-year dominance of the Greek game came to a shock end.
In truth, Miranda was never likely to adapt to English football. Though decent in possession, he lacked the required strength or physicality and was left rather embarrassed by powerful centre-forwards, most notable QPR’s Matt Smith.
Miranda simply wasn’t Premier League quality – now Wolves can devote their time to finding a defender who is.
