Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reportedly asked Wolverhampton Wanderers left-back Ruben Vinagre about a move to Anfield in January.

Ruben Vinagre looks quite salty. That’s the pun out of the way, now on to the serious business of Jurgen Klopp apparently asking the 19-year-old left-back how he would feel about moving to Merseyside.
According to O Jogo, the Liverpool manager spoke to Vinagre at the end of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ 2-1 FA Cup third round win against the Reds in January.
And the nature of the conversation apparently revolved around whether the Portuguese teenager would be keen to swap Molineux for Anfield, just 12 months after he joined Wolves permanently from Monaco for a bargain fee of £2 million, as reported by the Shropshire Star.

Vinagre has made seven Premier League starts this season but his potential is clear to see despite his lack of game time.
The former Sporting Lisbon youngster was outstanding against Liverpool in the cup and he would be a fine back-up to Andrew Robertson, particularly as the much-maligned Alberto Moreno prepares to bid farewell.
But, while Liverpool fans would happily welcome another exciting young talent to Merseyside, Wolves supporters won’t give up Vinagre without one hell of a fight. Watch this space.
