Liverpool are reportedly set to sell goalkeeper Danny Ward to Leicester City but what about Harry Maguire?

Last week, the Mirror reported that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had taken the surprise decision to make Danny Ward, who played just once in the whole of last season, his new first-choice goalkeeper.
That was, however, until the Reds started to close in on a world-record deal to sign Roma’s brilliant Brazil number one Alisson Becker. Suddenly, it seems that there is no room at Anfield for the former Huddersfield and Aberdeen loanee with Liverpool looking to cash in.
Sky Sports claim that Liverpool have agreed to sell Ward to Leicester City for £10 million and the Wales international is set to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms in the coming days.

Although with this move seemingly imminent, Liverpool fans have hatched a plan. Could selling Ward to Leicester knock a few pounds off Harry Maguire’s price-tag?
Maguire is something of a national hero right now, one of the stars of England’s stunning run to the World Cup semi-finals. The man affectionately known as ‘slab head’ certainly has his admirers among the Liverpool fan-base, too, with many seeing the 24-year-old as the perfect partner for Virgil van Dijk.
The problem is, Leicester value Maguire at £50 million, although with Ward heading to Leicester, the fans can afford to dream.
