Ollie Palmer has scored nine goals for Crawley in League Two this season.

Sunderland have had a successful season so far, led by the impressive young striker Josh Maja – who has bagged nine goals in League One this term.
Maja has been excellent and has won games on his own with some important goals, but the Black Cats still lack a target man, which would have perhaps made the difference in a couple of matches this season.
The January transfer window is just around the corner and manager Jack Ross will be keen to explore it – and a good move for Sunderland would be to look at the impressive Crawley Town forward Ollie Palmer, who would be a great fit.
Sunderland looked to have made a good signing in the summer when they acquired the services of Bradford striker Charlie Wyke, who fits the roll of the target man they need for this season.
But Wyke has now picked up two long-term knee injuries in just a few months of being a Sunderland player and his fitness is something that his Scottish manager may struggle to rely on when he returns.
And 26-year-old Palmer could be a perfect fit for the Wearside club, showing his ability having scored nine goals in the fourth-tier this term – many of which have seen him use his head from set pieces and crosses.

The target man has great experience in the English Football League with a range of clubs, including the likes of Grimsby Town, Lincoln City and most recently Crawley.
And on the evidence of his season so far in League Two, the striker would be a perfect fit for the former Premier League side and a transfer which wouldn’t be likely to break the bank in the new year.
A move for the Epsom-born man may suit Palmer also, who is looking for his big break in his career and his arrival would also provide healthy competition to both Maja and Wyke – who haven’t got a lot of competition in their striker role.
