Sunderland have made 12 additions to their League One side this summer.

Sunderland manager Jack Ross made 12 additions to the Black Cats’ new-look League One squad this summer, with some shrewd signings within.
The 42-year-old has made no secrets in declaring his desire to sign the 13th player of the summer, but with the loan window closing on Friday, Sunderland could be left with the squad they have.
And last year’s Scottish manager of the year has revealed that he is content if Sunderland do not add to their squad before Friday in an interview with the Sunderland Echo.
When asked about his desire to sell want-away pair Didier Ndong and Papy Djilobodji, Ross said: “It’s more for the club as a whole to be able to move on and continue to progress in the right direction.
“If that happens, it may allow us to look at maybe adding one, but I’m not overly concerned if that’s not the case because I’m fairly content with what we’ve managed to put together.” Ross added.

The Wearside team remain unbeaten in League One this season and have only dropped points away to Luton Town when Ross’ men drew 1-1 at Kenilworth Road.
Sunderland return to the Stadium of Light against Oxford United this Saturday after two games on the road and a win could see the former Premier League side jump to the top of the table.
