Sunderland have enjoyed a fantastic summer transfer window, having signed some impressive players in key areas.

Sunderland have had an impressive summer and an even better start to life in League One, after winning their opening game 2-1 last weekend against Charlton Athletic.
Jack Ross and his men play away to Luton this weekend, but the Black Cats had the small matter of a transfer deadline day to contend with on Thursday.
However, after a summer full of arrivals, 42-year-old Ross only made one signing on the day, in the shape of League One winner Max Power and Sunderland fans have taken to social media to react to the news.
Power was part of the Wigan Athletic side which won the League One title last year and is arguably one of the best signings of the summer for the Wearside club.
The 25-year-old joins Sunderland on a loan deal until January with a view to a permanent move, after the club’s didn’t manage to complete a permanent move before the 5pm deadline on Thursday evening.
Power joined the Latics in 2015 and managed to net 11 goals in 126 games for the former Premier League side, with the player also possessing excellent ability from dead ball situations.

Power was awarded his professional contract with Tranmere Rovers back in 2011 after nine years with their youth setup and 12 goals in 109 appearances in his four-year stint with the first-team.
The Birkenhead born man arrives on Wearside with a lot of expectation, but the player will have to earn his spot in the first-team with several other central midfielders fighting for a place in their Scottish manager’s side.
