Sunderland have made an unbeaten start to their League One campaign this season.

Sunderland have been nothing short of excellent since embarking on life in League One and after six games the Black Cats remain unbeaten.
Key to their U-turn from their last two seasons has been the change in ownership, but more so the appointment of Scottish manager Jack Ross.
And, after an impressive August from the Black Cats, Ross has been nominated for a League One manager of the month accolade and Sunderland fans have taken to social media to react to the news.
The opening month of the 2018/19 campaign saw the Wearside third division side pick up 13 points from a possible 15, with three wins and one draw away to Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.
Their best performance came at the Stadium of Light against fellow pre-season promotion candidates Scunthorpe United, with Sunderland rolling over their opposition with a 3-0 scoreline.

The most impressive thing from the new era on Wearside has been the never-say-die attitude, demonstrated by Sunderland going behind on four occasions so far this season, yet still remaining unbeaten.
Ross’s 12 summer signings have all made an impact so early on in the new campaign and the 42-year-old has to take credit for that, with Max Power, Chris Maguire and Jack Baldwin the pick of the bunch.
Scotland’s manager of the year last term will face another tough task to prepare his team for the arrival of Fleetwood Town this Saturday, but a win would see Ross and his side given yet more credit.
