Sunderland have had an exceptional summer transfer window, but will be hoping to get rid of two or three more want-away players.

Sunderland have moved efficiently to move many of their unwanted players to other clubs this summer, with Wahbi Khazri, Billy Jones and Lamine Kone all having left the club.
Two of Sunderland’s want-away players still remain on Wearside, however, with Papy Djilobodji and Didier Ndong still on the book of the League One side.
But according to reports from the Sunderland Echo, central defender Djilobodji is attracting interest from Turkish giants Besiktas.
The Senegalese defender joined Sunderland in 2016 from Chelsea for around £8m, but after being relegated with the Black Cats from the Premier League in the 2016/17 season, Djilobodji moved to Dijon on loan. The 29-year-old made 29 appearances for the French side last term, but after Dijon decided not to sign the player on a permanent basis, he returned to Sunderland.
However, despite making just 18 appearances for the Wearsider’s and failing to impress in any of them, the former Nantes defender has now been linked with Besiktas.

Sunderland began their new era in the third tier with an impressive win against Charlton last weekend, and the Black Cats’ faithful will be pleased to hear the news of a potential Djilobodji’s exit.
Sunderland manager Jack Ross will also be hoping to sell Ndong in order to put funds into potential new signings. The Wearside club will be hopeful of bringing in two or three more reinforcements to bolster their squad to give them the best possible chance of achieving their promotion target this season.
