Sunderland play their second game in four days when they travel to Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night.

Sunderland travel to the Keepmoat Stadium to play Doncaster Rovers for the first time since the 1987/88 season on Tuesday as Jack Ross’s side look to extend their unbeaten run to six games in League One.
The Black Cats’ game against Grant McCann’s side will be their second of three games in seven days and a 2-0 win over Shrewsbury Town last weekend will have the travelling side in high spirits.
Ross could have his hands full with his team selection, with talisman Josh Maja nursing an ankle problem and few replacements available, with Charlie Wyke and Duncan Watmore both out injured.
Maja has scored nine goals this term, but his performance at New Meadow wasn’t one of his best and the 19-year-old could be rested ahead of Southend United on Saturday.
The likely candidate to lead the line will be Jerome Sinclair, who had a tough start on Wearside with a recurring injury, but recent performances have looked more positive.
Elsewhere, both Max Power and Bryan Oviedo will remain side-lined through suspension, with the Costa Rican serving his final game from the stands and the Wigan Athletic loanee serving his second of a four-match ban.

One man who will be the first name on the team-sheet in midweek will be Lee Cattermole, who took was captain in the absence of George Honeyman.
Both Jack Baldwin and Tom Flanagan will remain at the heart of Sunderland’s defence, whilst Dylan McGeouch will be hoping his resurgent displays in midfield can be continued this week.
Below is how we predict Sunderland will line up against Doncaster, with two changes to the side that beat Shrewsbury Town 2-0 last weekend.
