Sunderland are unbeaten in League One and recently hammered Gillingham 4-1 away from home.

Sunderland hammered Gillingham 4-1 on Wednesday evening, despite going behind to an early Tom Eaves goal in the second minute of the game.
However, the games continue to come thick and fast and Jack Ross’s side travel to AFC Wimbledon to play their third game in six days in League One.
And despite Ross being keen to field an unchanged side after Sunderland impressed at the Priestfield Stadium, the Scot may be forced to rest players to avoid exhaustion.
Sunderland saw the return of Dylan McGeouch against Gillingham and the 25-year-old certainly impressed in his short stint as a substitute.
Forward Charlie Wyke could also return after weeks on the sideline, whilst full-backs Bryan Oviedo and Adam Matthews could be back in the starting line-up after they missed out in midweek

Sunderland’s 42-year-old manager will have one or two names he simply can’t leave out of the squad at this stage of the season, with Josh Maja being one of those names, having scored four in four games.
Some of Ross’s summer signings have made a major impact after little time to bed in, including Max Power who has two goals in two games from midfield and Lynden Gooch who has been very impressive out wide.
Below is how we think Sunderland will set up against mid-table AFC Wimbledon, with two changes to the side that beat Gillingham.
