Newcastle United travel to Wales to face promoted Cardiff City on Saturday lunchtime.

Newcastle face off against newly promoted side Cardiff on Saturday lunchtime, with Rafa Benitez’s side looking to build on an positive opening weekend.
The Magpies were beaten 2-1 by Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, but were unlucky not to pick up at least a point and Benitez may be keen to tweak one or two things ahead of their trip to Wales.
Newcastle had an interesting summer, bringing in seven players, but fans on Tyneside aren’t happy with the way their club is progressing in the top-flight.
But if Benitez can field a side that can pick up all three points against Neil Warnock’s side, the Newcastle faithful may well begin to feel a little bit at ease.
However, 58-year-old Benitez is likely to make a couple of changes to his side that face Cardiff, with full-back DeAndre Yedlin having hobbled off injured against Spurs and new signing Rondon impressing from the bench.

Yedlin’s injury doesn’t look as bad as first thought and returned to training with his teammates earlier this week, but is unlikely to have had enough preparation ahead of his sides key fixture this weekend.
Striker Joselu netted in Newcastle’s opener last weekend and impressed throughout, but after Newcastle’s new number nine Rondon shone from the bench, we are likely to see a change up top.
Below is how we think United will line-up against relegation favourites Cardiff, with two changes to the side that lost 2-1 to Spurs last week.
