Tony Pulis is expected to make some changes to his side Middlesbrough side that beat Birmingham at the weekend.

Middlesbrough face Notts County in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening, with manager Tony Pulis looking to take his side on a cup-run; something they have not achieved for a number of years.
The Championship side only managed to reach the second round of this competition last season, when they were knocked out by Fulham in extra-time, despite taking an early lead through former striker David Nugent.
However, Boro fans will be hoping their side can forget last season’s failed efforts as they embark on the competition, especially after making such a great start to the 2018/19 Championship campaign.
The former Premier League side sit at the top of the table and look extremely strong in all areas of the pitch, after making some shrewd additions to their side over the summer.
Their 60-year-old manager has made some key changes to Middlesbrough’s line-up this season, fielding a 3-5-2 system, something that has given Pulis’s side extra balance in both attack and defence.

Spearheading the Boro attacks this season has been Britt Assombalonga and Martin Braithwaite, both of whom have chipped in with goals in their three fixtures to date.
However, we expect at least four changes to the side that will face off against the League Two side, with Pulis likely keen to rest key players and give a chance to those who have not had as many minutes as they would like.
Below is how we think Middlesbrough will line up against Notts County, with four changes to the side that is unbeaten this season.
