George Saville joined Middlesbrough from Millwall in the summer.

Middlesbrough summer signing George Saville has looked a promising player in his first few appearances for Tony Pulis’ side this season.
The midfielder joined the Boro from Millwall on loan with a permanent deal in place to sign the Northern Irishman in January.
And in an interview with Teesside Live, Saville revealed the reasons behind his decision to join Championship side Middlesbrough this summer.
When speaking about his move to Middlesbrough, Saville said: “I want to push myself, and give myself the best opportunity of getting myself and the football club into the Premier League.
“I had a fantastic time at Millwall and have really fond memories of my time there. It’s a fantastic football club – but for me, Middlesbrough is at the next level.”

The 25-year-old made his first start for the Boro against Bolton Wanderers in midweek and Saville scored the opening goal with a neat finish into the bottom corner.
Camberley-born Saville will now have his sights set on cementing a place in Pulis’ side for their all-important season in the second tier, with the Boro desperate to get back into the Premier League.
